Mesa is a software emulation of the popular OpenGL application programmer's
interface for 3D computer graphics. It can handle gouraud shading, NURBS,
polygons, Z-buffer, and other graphic goodies.
I have included the original Mesa distribution, with special instructions
for the Amiwin (X11R6 on the Amiga) version. There is also a quick port of
MesaGLUT.lib, the GLUT toolkit (windows and events), provided (but it is
still very buggy).
I have provided static link libraries for a 68040/68882 and 68000/nofpu
equipped Amiga. However, if you have SAS/C, you can edit the Smakefile and
recompile to whatever cpu configuration you have.
You will need the REGISTERED version of Amiwin to link in the X libraries
(another reason to register!). Get the development kit for Amiwin at your
local aminet site. Some examples will require unix-ish type header files
such as in <sys/time.h>, <sys/types.h> and function calls like sleep().
This will require an emulation library like net.lib provided in the
software development kit for AmiTCP4.0.
Available at all Aminet sites.
