SOFT-LOGIK ANNOUNCES DIGITA ORGANIZER FOR AMIGA
(St. Louis) Soft-Logik(tm) today announced Digita Organizer, a new
personal information manager (PIM) for Amiga computers. Organizer is the
first professional Amiga PIM. It uses a tabbed notebook metaphor with
spiral bound pages to simplify organizing appointments, tasks and
Digita Organizer can remind users of appointments and can repeat events
with any frequency. It allows users to manage to do lists and keep track
of addresses. Custom pages can be printed for Day-Timer(tm), Filofax(tm),
Rolodex(tm), Time Manager(tm) and other paper oganizer binders.
Events can be imported from Day-By-Day(tm) diaries, and Organizer addresses
can shared with Datastore(tm) or mail merged with Wordworth(R) or
PageStream(R). Supplemental information including conversion tables,
dialing codes, time zones and other useful information is included. The
calendar can be set to various themes including public holidays, celebrity
birthdays and religious events.
Digita International is the leading publisher of Amiga productivity
software in the United Kingdom, and Soft-Logik Publishing is the leading
publisher of Amiga productivity software in the United States. Soft-Logik
will sell and support Digita Organizer in the United States and Canada,
while Digita International(R) will sell it in other countries. Soft-Logik
currently sells Digita's Wordworth word processor and Datastore personal
database in North America.
Digita Organizer is expected to be available in North America at the end of
April. The suggested retail price is $160. Owners of other Soft-Logik
programs can order it directly from Soft-Logik for $85 plus $6 shipping and
handling ($7 to Canada).
